Design and Development
We offer consultations to our customers to ideate, design and prototype parts. We use tools such as CAD (Computer Aided Design), PPAP, and manufacturability/feasibility analysis. Our industry knowledge and previous experiences; allow us to deliver quality prints and design, recommend suitable material, and develop the project using efficient technology.
COST REDUCTION
Cost reduction initiatives are something we can help with, such as drawing modification or changing the production process. Cold and Hot forming are viable options that allow for efficient material utilization, effectively reducing the cost of the part.
ASSEMBLY
We have experience and expertise in assemblies; using child parts such as sheet metal, O-rings and rubber components, plastic parts, springs, magnets, ball bearings. Our vendor base is vetted and we have equipment for assembly: fitment presses, fixtures, crimping and swiveling machines. We have leak testing equipment and are open to develop further testing.

Supply Chain
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
We are able to hold consignment stock with maximum and minimum levels,at JAKAP India and our warehouses Europe and USA. We warehouse so that you do not have to, saving you valuable space, and effectively reducing your overhead costs.
PACKAGING
The material we ship uses packaging that is in sea worthey reinforced cardboard boxes and pallets. The parts are packed as per your standard in protective boxes. We label the boxes as per our customers of VDA requirement, the labels are barcoded to ensure traceability. We can also offer custom designed packaging such as kitting or that promotes your brand.
JUST IN TIME DELIVERY
We can work with VMI (Vendor managed inventory), using your supplier portal to track, and plan supplies at regular intervals. We can work with you to deliver on demand: Just in time effectively reducing your inventory holding costs.
Warehousing
In an effort to furtherthe service we offer our customers, we started warehousing closer to our customers’ manufacturing locations. We have warehoused in France, Spain, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and the United States. We hold inventory at the warehouse based on customer forecasts and demand and supply components JIT to the customer plants.
Global Sourcing
We also provide the service of sourcing other commodities for our customers. We take care of the supply chain for these commodities as well. Jakap is responsible to source, inspect, manage the logistics and supply these components to our customers. We source casted, forged, sintered, plastic and sheet metal commodities when the customer requires them.
Over the years, we have developed a reliable source of partners whom we work with to source these commodities. We audit these companies and ensure that the quality is as per Jakap Excellence Standards.
