Skill Requirements: A Quality Engineer must possess a rigorous technical background in metrology and quality assurance to ensure all outgoing products meet strict international standards.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Gauges, Profile projectors, VMS), understanding of technical drawings (GD&T), and familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data logging and generating Quality Reports.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong decision-making capabilities, and effective communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Final Product Inspection: Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of finished components to ensure 100% compliance with customer specifications.
  • Instrumentation & Calibration: Utilize and maintain various measuring tools and gauges to verify tolerances in brass, steel, and aluminum or etc. parts.
  • Defect Identification: Identify and categorize surface defects, such as seams or plating inconsistencies, to prevent non-conforming material from being shipped.
  • Quality Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive final inspection reports, certificates of compliance, and verification check sheets using Excel or ERP.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into any quality failures found during the final stage and coordinate with the production team to implement process improvements.
  • Material Standards Verification: Ensure that raw material properties and surface treatments (like zinc plating or anodizing) meet the required quality plans.
  • Process Audits: Occasionally assist in internal audits of manufacturing stages, including turning, threading, and boring or other operations, to ensure overall process stability.
  • Communication: Collaborate with the Production and Engineering departments to resolve quality-related bottlenecks and improve yield.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propose updates to the Quality Plan or Inspection Standards to optimize the inspection lead time without compromising accuracy.
